Our mission:  to connect youth, families, and educators with nature. We offer learning experiences rooted in play, discovery, and connection to nature.

Each camp, training or PED day fosters curiosity, confidence and ecological awareness, while cultivating authentic relationships with oneself, others and the environment.

Summer camp- Angrignon park

Parc Angrignon

Give your child a week of outdoor adventures in the heart of the city. Through games, challenges, stories, and forest excursions, children will learn survival skills, discover local wildlife and plants, and develop their teamwork. Each day takes place outdoors, in small groups, with fun and safety in mind.

From an early age, the instinct to connect with our own potential is powerful. Each week, the Chickadees head out on an adventure—discovering hidden treasures, exploring with all their senses, and immersing themselves in a community that cares for nature, for others, and for themselves. They’re growing up in the modern world, but with a childhood rooted in outdoor play and adventure.

In this hands-on, engaging, and playful program, come develop your mentoring skills so you can help others connect with nature. Over four months, this training is designed for educators, youth workers, parents, and anyone interested in nature-based education.

Youth Leadership - Summer Camp

Parc Angrignon

This camp is for teens who want to take their wilderness skills and leadership to the next level. Over one week, youth learn how to lead a group, set up shelters, build fires, read the landscape, and work as a team. A camp to grow as a person… and as an outdoor leader.

A transformative day in the outdoors

A day of games, survival skills, and outdoor adventures—designed for youth to explore and reconnect with nature in an urban setting. A small guide-to-participant ratio and attentive, bilingual staff contribute to a fulfilling day outdoors.

Coyote in Schools

Connect your classroom with Nature

During the school day or as extracurricular activities, Coyote Programs integrates outdoor learning into the curriculum. Students will practice wilderness skills, develop their environmental awareness, and hone their leadership. We work alongside educators to lead activities connected to science, history, and art, and to cultivate curiosity, resilience, and respect for nature.

Summer Camps

An urban nature adventure

Coyote Programs invites youth for a week of adventure where nature becomes our teacher. Guided by an exceptional team and Indigenous knowledge keepers, participants will practice survival skills, craft objects with materials harvested from the land, and learn about ecology through stories and games that cultivate resilience, confidence, and respect for the environment.
