Details
From the ponds and leafy forests of Parc Angrignon to Verdun’s riverside trails, this group of young adventurers plays hard, listens closely, and explores far and wide. They build and create, discover surprising natural phenomena, learn to listen to one another, and make group agreements. They hear stories, sing songs, go on missions, and develop a deep appreciation for the natural world.
In the fall and spring, the Chickadees meet at Parc Angrignon. During the colder months (November to March), the program moves to Grand Potager in Verdun. This program visits our Indigenous partners in Kahnawake once in the fall and once in the spring.
We send weekly emails with highlights and photos from our activities.
RL-24 Tax Slip (Childcare Tax Credit)
Most families are eligible for the RL-24 tax slip, a Québec provincial tax credit covering 67% to 78% of the program cost. This childcare expense credit can bring the cost per session down to roughly $20–$30 (+ tax).
Because our programs are recognized as eligible childcare services, families can access the credit in two ways:
- When filing your income taxes
- Through monthly advance payments (available upon request)

Chickadees
From an early age, the instinct to connect with our own potential is powerful. Each week, the Chickadees head out on an adventure—discovering hidden treasures, exploring with all their senses, and immersing themselves in a community that cares for nature, for others, and for themselves. They’re growing up in the modern world, but with a childhood rooted in outdoor play and adventure.
