Details
A time to play, socialize, and explore the natural world. Minks are quick and observant, covering long distances while noticing the clues written into the landscape. They’re skilled with their hands, and this weekly meet-up gives them lots of time to create meaningful projects and truly get to know urban nature through the seasons. Twice a year, the group puts its focus, skills, and teamwork to the test on a 2-night, 3-day camping trip.
In the fall and spring, the Minks meet at Parc Angrignon.
During the colder months (November to March), the program moves to Grand Potager in Verdun. This program also visits our Indigenous partners in Kahnawake once in the fall and once in the spring.
We send weekly emails with highlights and photos from our activities.
This program includes a camping trip to Papineauville May 27–29, 2026
RL-24 Tax Slip (Childcare Tax Credit)
Most families are eligible for the RL-24 tax slip, a Québec provincial tax credit covering 67% to 78% of the program cost. This childcare expense credit can bring the cost per session down to roughly $20–$30 (+ tax).
Because our programs are recognized as eligible childcare services, families can access the credit in two ways:
- When filing your income taxes
- Through monthly advance payments (available upon request)

Minks
The Minks are a committed group of young adventurers who care for their community and the natural world. They build practical skills for camping trips, create projects using wild materials, and learn to read the great book of nature.
