Details
Wood Frogs is a group of creative kids who head into a big forest every week to learn, listen, and truly live. The site is an ideal forest-school camp setting, with climbing structures, fire pits for cooking, wood to split, storage areas, a prospector-style tent with a wood stove, forests to explore, and a composting toilet. The place is perfectly suited to shelter building, fire skills, discovering forest ecology… and having a whole lot of fun. Learning from the Indigenous perspectives shared by our host adds a richness to the experience that’s both unique and deeply meaningful.
We send weekly emails with highlights and photos from our activities.
This program includes a camping trip to Papineauville.
- From May 27–29, 2026
Outings:
In the spring, we’ll visit the Marguerite d’Youville Wildlife Refuge to observe wildlife and a wide variety of birds.
RL-24 Tax Slip (Childcare Tax Credit):
Most families are eligible for the RL-24 tax slip, a Québec provincial tax credit covering 67% to 78% of the program cost. This childcare expense credit can bring the cost per session down to roughly $20–$30 (+ tax).
Because our programs are recognized as eligible childcare services, families can access the credit in two ways:
- When filing your income taxes
- Through monthly advance payments (available upon request)
