Does your child love being outdoors and learning about nature? This is the perfect program for them. It will not only give them a chance to explore and be wild outside, but will role model for them a caring community that knows also how to slow down and pay attention to the symphony of nature around them. Imaginative play, wilderness skills, games and special quests will fill their minds and hearts with connection to the land, community and themselves.
This program meets at the same time as the Foxes and Otters program (but doesn't involve a camping trip).
This program includes field trips to Kahnawake to meet with native knowledge keepers, and an organic vegetable farm in Senneville called Jardins Carya. Where we take a school bus to the locations.
The program is ongoing and there are some spots available.

“Passion is lifted from the earth itself by the muddy hands of the young; it travels along grass-stained sleeves to the heart… If we are going to save environmentalism and the environment, we must also save an endangered indicator species: the child in nature.” — Richard Louv
